WHO WE ARE
Liberty North Port Concrete is a concrete contractor based in North Port, FL. I learned the trade working on other crews before I started this business here, and we're best known for flatwork that stays level and drains well. Flatwork is the concrete laid flat on the ground, like driveways, patios and pool decks.
Most of our calls come from homeowners in North Port and the cities around it, along with property owners who need a slab, a wall or a lot poured. What they want is concrete that's still doing its job long after we've gone, and that's what I care about most too.
Because a slab only stays flat if the ground under it does, we dig out soft soil and pack the subgrade, the layer the concrete sits on, before the forms go up. Concrete can also get small cracks as it shrinks, so we cut control joints, shallow grooves that give it a planned place to crack, and those cracks usually follow our line.

I come out to look at the job and write your estimate myself, and I'm on site with our own crew while they form, pour and finish it.

Before we start, we check which city or county office covers your address, because each office sets its own rules. When a permit is needed, we pull it in our name and set up the inspections, and when the work may qualify for an exemption, we help you put the request together.
Curing, the days new concrete spends hardening and gaining strength, is why you'll wait before walking or driving on it, so we tell you how long to keep off it. The forms and leftover concrete leave with us.
